The return of the striker Henry Martinof the Americaand the goalkeeper’s debut Alex Padillaof the Athletic Bilbaostand out in the Mexican soccer team that will play in September against New Zealand and Canada.
The Mexican Football Federation announced on Wednesday the first call-up of coach Javier Aguirre, who already led the ‘tri’ in the 2002 and 2010 World Cups, and will take charge of the team until the 2026 World Cup, which Mexico will co-host with Canada and the United States.
