Jauja Airport: Work begins on the landing strip that will last 30 days

The Peruvian Airports and Commercial Aviation Corporation SA (Corpac) announced that maintenance and recovery work will begin on the Jauja airport landing strip, work that will begin this December 2 and will last for 30 days.

Although it is true, the work warrants the interruption of departures and arrivals of planes, there will be 15 days in which flights will be operated. In December the operating days will be 7,8,14,15, 22,23,24,25,29,30 and 32. In the month of January they will be 1,5,11 and 12.

These works had already been announced months ago by representatives of Junín who managed the improvements to the airport with the mediation of Congressman Jorge Montoya. The works will be carried out with an investment of 7 million soles to improve the landing strip and the aircraft apron.
