Without specifying the cause or the alleged crimes against Salazar, the MU19A limited itself to referring that its vice president was placed at the order of the Fifth Court of Hearings of Managua.

He added that the opponent is still detained in District III of the Police, in Managua, where he was transferred after the National Police broke into his house. “We receive this notification with great concern since we do not know the real state in which he is,” the organization said.

At the same time, they demanded that the Nicaraguan dictatorship respect Salazar’s physical integrity, while demanding his immediate release. “Being young and loving your country is not a crime!” they affirmed.
