The opposition and youth leader Jason Noel Salazar Rugama He is celebrating his 27th birthday, however, he will not be able to celebrate it with his relatives because he is still imprisoned, without trial or known cause of the kidnapping.

Regarding the attack of the dictatorship against the opposition youth, the University Movement stated that “as on many other occasions we have to explain how we, the young Nicaraguans, shoulder a country destroyed by hatred and corruption.”
They also recalled that as young activists they got involved in the demand for justice without caring and “without asking if it corresponded to us or if they were going to listen to us.”
Legal status unknown
It was recently learned that on April 5, the university leader was taken to a special hearing and that he was placed before the Fifth Court of Managua, however the alleged crimes are unknown.
Salazar was kidnapped at 8:13 on the morning of Tuesday, April 4, in Managua. According to a complaint from people close to the opponent, the National Police broke into his house with an operation of 20 agents in search of him.
