Jalisco presents Model of Magical Towns

Guadalajara, Jalisco. After the elimination of federal funds for this item, the government of Jalisco has invested 3,262.8 million pesos in infrastructure for its nine Magic towns between 2018 and 2021.

With the start of the economic recovery, in 2021 the Magic towns They increased their influx of visitors by 142%, receiving 2.5 million more tourists than in 2020, while income from hotel activity increased by 101 million pesos in the same period.

“What we want now is that our magical towns can have infrastructure that allows them to have a place not only to visit, but where people live better and that the quality of life is one of the main attractions”, said the state president.

According to Enrique Alfaro, the Model of Magical Towns of Jalisco It consists of four strategies, the first of which is the diagnosis and ordering of mobility, for which the state government will invest 20 million pesos.
