This Thursday, January 12, the Jaime Díaz Quintero water treatment plant will suspend operations due to cleaning work in sedimentation tanks #1 and #2 and in the intake of raw water to maintain the flow during the dry season, reported the Institute of National Aqueducts and Sewers. (IDAN).

The work will be carried out from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will affect the water service with low pressures in the Corregimiento of El Coco and Guadalupe and lack of supply in Playa Leona, Barriadas Costa Oeste, Villas de Costa Oeste, Residencial Don Juan and surroundings, as well as Jardines de Mastranto, Lomas de Mastranto in the district of La Chorrera, in turn the Corregimiento Juan Demóstenes Arosemena and part of Vista Alegre in the district of Arraiján.

All necessary measures will be taken to reduce the effects of this maintenance, attending to sensitive points such as the hospitals in the districts of La Chorrera and Arraiján that are affected through tank cars.

EI IDAAN recommends taking the necessary measures to avoid shortages during the time that the works last and the system recovers.
