The internationalist and deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Jacobo Torresstressed that the development of peoples will only be achieved with peace, this in connection with the holding of the III Celac-EU Summit, an event in which the Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy of Venezuela was strengthened.
Torres indicated that the Celac-EU summit is one more nail in the ballot box of imperialism, after the great defeat suffered by the factual factors and the retrograde sectors of fascism that have been insisting on defeating the progressive forces and revolutionary governments.
During the interview on the show coffee in the morningbroadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the parliamentarian said that “once again the gallantry of the Venezuelan people, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and the forces of Latin America have allowed the isolation of the retrograde right in the region.”
Regarding the speech of the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, she highlighted that Venezuela raised the fifth objective of the Plan de la Patria at the III CELAC-EU Summit, which is none other than “Contribute to the preservation of life on the planet and the salvation of the human species”.
“The main objective is to save humanity and achieve a peace that allows the development of the peoples,” said the Internationalist.
In this sense, Torres affirmed that the country came out well together with a good part of Latin America that fights against the specter of coups d’état, the extreme right and an imperialism that keeps putting pressure on it. In addition, he stressed that the legitimacy of origin of the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela was reaffirmed in the diplomatic arena.
Finally, he specified that the crisis suffered by European nations as a result of their bad decisions has caused them a great loss of credibility and influence in the international context.
