The president of the JAC explained that these numbers “are the result of the open skies policy carried out by the organization, which seeks to increase the number of airlines, frequencies and routes to and from the Dominican Republic“.

“The air market liberalization policy promoted by the Government of the Republic seeks to make it more open and competitive for passenger and cargo traffic,” said the president of the JAC during his speech before the members of the plenary.

While on the Tampa/Punta Cana route, operations are planned for the same date, but with a frequency of one flight a week, on Saturdays.

The air operator estimates that, for the period from June to December 2022, approximately 10,230 passengers will be transported on the Tampa/Santo Domingo route.

Meanwhile, for the Tampa/Punta Cana route, it is estimated that 2,232 passengers will be transported during the same period.
