The singer J Balvin is back in the news, this time because of the way he has celebrated Colombia’s Independence Day.
Through his social networks, J Balvin shared a spectacular video of almost a minute and a half, where he wrote: “Proud as a hp to be Colombian!!” (sic).

The video shows many prominent and famous figures from Colombia, including soccer player James Rodríguez, actress Sofía Vergara, singers Maluma and Karol G, and part of the telenovela ‘Betty, la fea’ is also shown.
However, it was the absent ones who attracted the most attention from their followers on social networks. Internet users highlighted the absence of the renowned writer Gabriel García Márquez and the world famous Shakira.
With the latter, J Balvin has had harsh comments that, at the time, the fans of the “I congratulate you” interpreter were not amused.
Even the singer of “What do you intend” placed part of what was his presentation in the “superbowl» of 2020 and in which he appears next to Jennifer López, but did not include images of his colleague and compatriot Shakira, who was also the main figure in that presentation.
“The time we made a 2,500-kilometer field goal from Medellin to the ‘Super Bowl,’” he said.
Immediately, social networks exploded and pointed to J Balvin as a macho, among other qualifiers.
“You can tell that J Balvin is very hurt that a woman full of grace has opened the way for him”, “J Balvin forgets when he opened for Shakira”, “Shakira is Colombia and Colombia is Shakira”, say some of the comments.
Despite strong criticism, the singer has not spoken.
