A complaint for the crime against honor and aggravated defamation has been filed Ivan Quispe Palomino against the president of the Council of Ministers, Gustavo Adrianzenand the Minister of the Interior, Juan José Santiváñez.
In the lawsuit, Quispe Palomino asks that the criminal law be applied “and the defendants be punished punitively for having injured my personal honor and human dignity, by having publicly made false statements of criminal incrimination regarding me.”

As recalled, Iván Quispe Palomino, who has lived in Lima for several years and works as a bricklayer, was arrested last Wednesday within the framework of the Genesis operation under the protection of the state of emergency.
The representatives of the Executive then announced the arrest of the number 2 command of the terrorist organization Sendero Luminoso in the VRAEM. In addition, they indicated that at the time of being intervened, Quispe was carrying and showing a false identity document. After that, they kept him imprisoned for two days until it was confirmed that the detainee did not have any requirements, as also reported by the head of the Interior.
In this context, Quispe Palomino requests that each of the defendants pay him economic compensation of S/750,000 “for the damages caused to my person and family, for the moral and psychological damage that they have generated in my person and family, as well as the impact on my life project and my development in the social environment”.
It should be remembered that according to sources from the Directorate against Terrorism (Dircote) of the National Police, Quispe Palomino was rather classified as a traitor by his older brother Víctor who does continue to operate in the VRAEM area.
