Iván Cano: “Water treatment plants have been affected in various parts of the country due to the drought”

The director of operations of the Institute of National Aqueducts and Sewers (IDAAN), Iván Cano, explained on Radio Panama that due to the drought that is hitting the country, there are water treatment plants that have been affected by the low flow of lakes and rivers.

The East Panama area has been affected by the prolonged drought and in sectors of the capital city there are high places that have been affected in the continuity of the service, others have had a drop in pressure but maintain 24-hour service.
