The nationalist senator Juan Sartori, who had a low attendance at the Senate, closed an agreement with Herrerismo and will be second on a joint list to the Senate that will be announced this Wednesday 11.
The list will therefore be headed first by President Luis Lacalle Pou – who will be on all National Party lists – and second by businessman Sartori.
Senator Luis Alberto Heber will also occupy the place of first substitute for Lacalle Pou, so, if the list obtains only one place in the Upper House, it would be occupied by Heber.
It is worth remembering that Sartori received the second most votes within the nationalist party in the last elections, beating Jorge Larrañaga who had come in third place.
