The massive festivals continue adding dates in Chile and what is coming now with all the power of Rock, Ska and Punk is the long-awaited Maleza Festival that will rock the capital with a lineup that includes venues from Les Miserables, The Turtle Combo and Sound of Arriving along with the Mexicans Molotov and the Spaniards of Ska-P.
When will the Maleza Festival take place?
After a pandemic delay the event will be held on April 22 at the Hipodromo Chile.
In addition to the bands already announced on the poster, it is expected that in the coming days new bands will be reported that will join this musical festival that already brings together thousands of fans who are counting the days until the event arrives.
From Liv Producciones, in charge of organizing Maleza, they see the return of live shows with great hope. “We spent almost two years with the festival stopped as a result of COVID-19, for which we thank the public who resisted and saved their tickets and we hope that this festival will be a great festival of live music, encounter and fraternity, which will help us feel better and leave the pandemic behind”they point out
Also, they maintain that “Festival Maleza, is an event that has been thought of since 2019, with the intention of filling a space for an audience that was a bit orphaned since the emergence of music made on boats, beaches and that lacks more content. The festival is a bit of a call to those who resist the idea of letting themselves be carried away by the glitter of gold chains (alluding to reggaeton) and try to put a little honesty on stage, hence the name Maleza”they assure.
