Borrowed by the Portuguese government to be displayed during the celebrations, the organ of the first Brazilian emperor was brought from Portugal aboard a Brazilian Air Force (FAB) executive jet and arrived in Brasília on Monday (22).

At the Itamaraty Palace, the heart is in the Sala Santiago Dantas, heated to serve as an exhibition and crypt.

From today (25) until September 5, the site will be open to scheduled visits by students from schools in the Federal District and, on weekends, the visit will be open to the general public.

Visiting hours and rules that must be followed by the public can be accessed at site from Itamaraty.

On Tuesday (23), President Jair Bolsonaro participated in the ceremony for the arrival of the heart of Dom Pedro I. The organ was taken down the ramp of the Palácio do Planalto, received by Bolsonaro and the first lady, Michelle Bolsonaro.
