Itaipu Binacional, through the Tourism Department, launched the first edition of the Expplayarte – Artistic Expressions in the Tourist Complex contest.
It is a freestyle mural painting contest to be held at the Tacuru Pucu Beach in Hernandarias; which is aimed at professional and / or amateur artists from all over the country. The engineer Juan Manuel Azuagathe Entity’s Tourism advisor, stressed that the activity’s main objective is to generate exhibition, exhibition and dissemination spaces in the artistic and cultural field, in order to value and make visible the work of local artists and strengthen tourism at the local level.
With this competition, it is also sought to show the Hernandariense commune through art; so the theme will be oriented to the city, the aspects that, according to the artists, characterize it and the traits or customs that are typical of its identity.
may apply creators, illustrators, visual artists, plastic artists or from another related discipline, at a professional or amateur level, from the date until next May 27. The application requirements are to complete the online form with all the requested information; meet the minimum age of participation of 18 years; and apply for a work of your own creation, with a free painting technique (only two proposals per artist).
The initiative is part of the second stage of the work to be carried out on Tacurú Pucú Beach, which seeks to be a meeting point that can be enjoyed 365 days a year, not only in summer.
