Until Monday, 4,831 applications were registered to compete for the 2,000 university degree scholarships and 500 technical scholarships offered by ITAIPU Binacional in the 2023 call. The deadline for registration is this Wednesday, February 15.
The Scholarship Unit emphasizes that each applicant must terminate their registration process with the finish button, otherwise your application will not be registered. Of the number mentioned above, some 881 registrations have not yet been finalized so students are asked complete them before the deadline.
It also reiterates the importance of young people correctly registering their emailsince it is a fundamental requirement and this information will be needed to carry out the confirmations of the verified registrations according to the specifications of the GBC.
It should be remembered that, due to the recent situation of the coronavirus pandemic, which affected the education of hundreds of high school graduates of the 2020 promotion of public and private institutions, ITAIPU enabled the graduates of that year from last Friday so that they can apply for the university scholarships available in this call.
This year, the ITAIPU Scholarship Program seeks to achieve a record in the allocation of places with a doubling of the number of venues enabled for the entrance exam, which from 5 sites it increased to 10, at the country level.

During the registration process, each applicant will find on the first page of the form an authorization form for the application that allows them to check the respective box between the two existing options: college scholarships and technical scholarships. Among the questions that must be marked as affirmative is the prerequisite of having read and accepted the Bases and Conditions Guide; You must also state that you have read and understood the incompatibilities to apply.
By way of declaration, under the principle of good faith, the boxes must be checked where it is stated that there is no incompatibility for the application; and other particularities that are part of the fundamental requirements for obtaining the scholarship.
On the following pages of the form appear the fields for the filling in personal data and academic and family information, respectively. This procedure can be done from any computer or mobile device that has internet access.
The venues enabled for the day of the exam and among which the applicant must choose the one of their preference at the time of registration are: San Lorenzo: National University of Asunción (UNA) – Faculty of Engineering (FIUNA); Ciudad del Este: National University of the East (UNE); Colonel Oviedo: National University of Caaguazú (UNCA); Concepción: National University of Concepción) and Encarnación: National University of Itapúa (UNI).
