James Rodríguez begins a new stage in León
The Colombian Juan Carlos Osoriocoach of the Tijuana club, has said that his compatriot, James Rodriguez has arrived in Mexico to “revolutionize the offensive game” of Lion. “James is a player who distributes the ball very well. He knows how to move as a double pivot, he is a great shooter who helps revolutionize the offensive game. León is going to benefit from the great projection that James has to generate arrivals,” said the former coach of Mexico and Paraguay.
Osorio, who led El Tri in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, said that figures like James will enhance the level of the Mexican League. The Clausura 2025 is the second tournament that Osorio directs to Tijuana. In the Apertura 2024 he took it to the quarterfinals in which he was eliminated by the leader Cruz Azul.
