The Plenary of Congress approved by majority (with only one abstention) the incorporation of CAS personnel from Essalud to the labor regime of Legislative Decree 728, Labor Productivity and Competitiveness Law.
Although about 4,200 workers would benefit from this measure, it is estimated that this transfer will cost the State S/116.5 million. The opinion obtained 110 votes in favor, zero against and one abstention.
According to what was approved, one of the requirements for incorporation is to have entered the institution through a selection process by public competition on merits on the date of promulgation of the regulation.
They must also be working under the CAS modality for an indefinite or indefinite term.
The scope of the initiative of the Congress is professionals, technicians and assistance assistants, both health and administrative.
For incorporation into the regime, the Social Security of Health has a period of no more than three years from the effective date of the regulation.
