Senator Guadalupe Chavira (Morena) maintained that this legislative body “will echo the urgency of classifying sexual abuse as serious, so it will be on the agenda of priority issues.” He explained that in conjunction with the meeting that is planned between President Claudia Sheinbaum and the Gender commissions of the congresses, “from the Senate we will contribute to this discussion that must be a priority given the increase in cases in the country. Enough with the abuse!”
