According to the report of the Ministry of Public Health of the Antillean nation, to date they have received at least one dose of one of the Cuban vaccines Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala, 10 million 569 thousand 265 Cubans, a figure in which the patients convalescing from the disease who receive a single injection of the Plus.

Of that total, nine million 347 thousand 177 people already have a second administration and the third, nine million 13 thousand 778.

In addition, five million 348 thousand 499 Cubans have reinforcement doses, more than 40 percent of the inhabitants of the Caribbean nation.

In total, 34 million 278 thousand 865 doses of self-immunogens have been administered in the country.

In this regard, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez highlighted the day before that the nation had exceeded 34 million doses of those placed in the national territory.

“Cuba has 93 percent of its vaccinable population (that is, those without any health problems and with all the possibilities to receive national products) with a complete schedule and 58.9 percent with the fourth booster injection. Our people are more and better protected every day,” he stressed.
