“It is reprehensible, whether or not he is a leader of the MAS. C.I believe that every citizen has the responsibility not to drive while intoxicated”, those were the statements he issued to deputy Deisy Choque, about his party colleague Reynaldo Ezequiel, who was apprehended Thursday night after starring in a drunken triple collision.
The deputy demanded from the authorities that the leader receive an exemplary sanction, since he not only put his life at risk, but that of other people, a fact that could cause mourning in some families.
“The regulations have to be for everyone, here there are no first-class or second-class citizens, we regret a lot of the events that happened. It has been clearly seen on social networks and the Ministry (of Government) must act in accordance with the regulations,” insisted the legislator.
He pointed out that these types of events cannot be registered, therefore justice must act accordingly: “He is in the capacity of apprehended and from there it is the Prosecutor’s Office that acts and, surely, they will give it the sanction it deserves,” he said.
Reynaldo Ezequiel was apprehended Thursday night near the fourth ring road after other drivers chased after a man driving a black van. In the end, who they found in front of the wheel was the leader of the MAS.
The people inflamed and remembering that this was not the first event who starred behind the wheel and in a drunken state, began to denounce and circulate on social networks the videos of how Reynaldo Ezequiel was driving crashing into the vehicles in his path.
Finally, the leader put an end to the MAS tried to convince people that he was not driving the vehicle, but the tests were already circulating on the networks.
Reynaldo Ezequiel spent the night in police cells, according to the departmental commander of the Police, Colonel Jhonny Omar Chávez. He explained that he has a record for dangerous driving, driving under the influence of alcohol, not having a license, not having inspection records, among others.
In addition, at the time of his arrest he did not carry his driver’s license either.
