Brazil, Chile, Colombia and other countries ask for respect for international law and peaceful solutions to military actions in Venezuela.
The governments of Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay and Spain they issued a common position in light of the recent events that occurred in Venezuelain a context marked by military actions carried out unilaterally on the part of USA within its territory. The joint position focuses on the implications of these events for the international lawthe regional security and the civilian populationand exposes a series of approaches on the ways that, according to these countries, should prevail to address the situation.
