Despite not reaching agreements in the dialogue that has been taking place since last Wednesday, August 10, between representatives of the government, pharmaceutical companies, drug distributors and pharmacies regarding the reduction in the prices of 170 drugs, this Monday the measure.
This was reiterated by the National Government through a statement, recalling that Executive Decree No. 17 of Wednesday, August 10, 2022, reduces the price for the list of medicines established for consumers by 30%, in order to guarantee the discount. prices demanded by the population of the country.
In addition to the 30% discount, the special discounts established by law are maintained, of 20% on medications for retirees, the letter mentioned.
