The 44 market analysts consulted by the Banco de la República in its Monthly Survey of Economic Expectations said that at the end of the year inflation would be above 8.78%slightly below the current level, but far from the goal of the monetary authority.

Likewise, for June those surveyed by the issuing body estimate that inflation will be 0.51%.
The 16 banks consulted said that on average the rate will be 0.53%, while the 16 commission agents of the Colombian Stock Exchange said on average that inflation in the sixth month of the year will be 0.50% and 20 Analysts from entities including financial corporations, Administrators of Pension and Severance Funds, and universities, among others, said that the average figure will be 0.51%.
The estimate of inflation without food for the sixth month of the year for all analysts is an average of 0.43%.
Regarding the exchange rate, those consulted said that it will close at an average of $3,927 in June and by the end of the year it could be placed at $3,838.

On the other hand, regarding the intervention rate of the Banco de la República, the most indicated estimate was that of a increase of 100 basis points (1 percentage point) to 7%.
