Israel’s Defense Minister explained in detail how Iran is using commercial ships to launch missiles and drones from the Persian Gulf, turning these ships into floating terrorist bases.
The Israeli military chief showed images of at least 6 vessels modified for Iranian military use that detail how they have been adapted to launch attacks, this being a threat to the security of the region and to Israel.
These types of ships would expand Iran’s ability to attack different countries with a strategic advantage in the Persian Gulf at a time when there is a lot of tension in this part of the world.
He also recalled that in recent years there have been attacks on ships both in the Gulf of Oman and in the Persian Gulf where the presence of Iranian ships is predominant.
