A anticyclone will limit the rains today in a large part of the country and only isolated showers and thunderstorms will occur in the morning over the municipalities of La Altagracia and El Seibo; in the afternoon they will extend to Greater Santo Domingo, the northeast, the Central Cordillera and the southwest, according to the forecast of the National Meteorological Office.
The Emergency Operations Center keeps the provinces of Monte Plata, Santo Domingo, Sánchez Ramírez, Monseñor Nouel, San Cristóbal and the National District on green alert, due to the saturation of the soils due to the rains that occurred.
They urge residents in vulnerable areas of the provinces on alert adopt the pertinent measures to avoid loss of life and damage to property. Onamet predicts that an anticyclone will reduce the rains for the next two days.

Regarding the marine conditions, it indicates that the waves will be normal on both coasts.
Expect temperatures to be warm, mostly in urban areas and during the day.
Tomorrow there will be showers and isolated thunderstorms over the southeast, northeast and the Central Cordillera.
