The director of the Office of Planning and Budget (OPP), Isaac Alfie, assured that in case of winning the “Yes” in the referendum for the repeal of the 135 articles of the Law of Urgent Consideration (LUC), no impact on the economy because they are articles that are not related to this matter.

“On the economy as such, the articles do not have a great impact; The fiscal rule may fall, but in any case the fiscal rules are made by the governments ”, said the hierarch.
“Without having a legal order, governments can carry out a conduct, which was what allowed the country to carry out certain medium-term events that are being visualized,” Alfie said in an interview with Radio Carve, alluding to the fiscal rule established by article 211 of the LUC, intended to be repealed in the popular consultation.

Nor does he believe that they will reject the investment because, “unless the person is thinking that a change of government, which would take place in three years, what he does is a 180-degree turn in terms of general policy, which did not happen. in the previous 15 years: there were twists, it is clear, but it was maintained ”.
