A group of councilors has the construction of the structure in check.

After several months of coordinated work between local authorities and the national government, to define the construction of the headquarters in the municipality, which will benefit more than 25 thousand young people in the area, a group of councilors has the construction of the structure in check.
According to the council coalition that decided to archive the project, the lack of details, information and the multiple modifications to it forced this decision to be made, which was strongly questioned by a group of councilors.
Councilor Evelio Rangel described as liars the members of the majority coalition who did not directly approve the draft agreement for the sale of the lot and described the decision of the group of councilors as sad.
“Very sad what just happened in the municipal council, where the speakers of the project request that it be archived and left under study, with the pretext that it was modified many times; They call themselves children of Ocaña who defend education and they are not, they just had to throw out the project and it was already a reality,” said the councilor.
This situation has generated multiple reactions among citizens, who hope that there will be an agreement and the review, study and approval of it will be reactivated.
However, The great concern lies in the time, which would not be enough for the municipal administration to present it again to the public corporation, which would put at risk the construction of the Sena headquarters, which for years has been one of the needs of the population.
“What is worrying here is that there is no more time for the mayor to present the project again to the Council, so more than 35,000 million pesos that the national government intended to invest in the construction of the Sena”; indicated a source to the FM.
According to experts, once the agreement is final, a series of actions must be carried out before November 7, which is the deadline for signing the agreement.
Which are:
Preparation of the minutes (1 day) October 14, request for Notarial Distribution (3 business days) October 17, review and deed (3 days) from October 18 to 21, signatures of the deed Ocaña – Bogotá from October 22 to 25, payment of registration taxes (1 day) October 27, entry to the ORIP of Ocaña from October 27 to 28, qualification in the ORIP (5 business days) until November 6.
