The Administrative Minister of the Presidency, Jose Ignacio Beatingclarified this Wednesday that the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) has not had any political rapprochement with the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD).
“We have not had it in the past, nor do we have it today in the present,” he emphasized.
The official also indicated that ¨at a certain moment with all the parties in the system we have been able to have a level of rapprochement to promote a law (perhaps), or for a country project at a certain moment¨.

Beating understands that a rapprochement with the opposition party would not proceed, since currently “there are many elements that differentiate us”.
¨There are many elements that divide us, have historically divided us and that remain on the table today. It is unlikely that there will be any level of understanding and anything from an electoral political point of view at some point in the near future”, he concluded.
These statements were offered at the Corripio Communications Group Luncheon.
