With an area of 10,000 square meters and an occupancy of 90%, the recently inaugurated Boulevard Puntamar shopping center has generated great expectations in the small south of Lima. Especially due to its possible relationship with Claudio Pizarro.
Strategically located, Boulevard Puntamar will have great impact during the high summer season when a large influx of public is expected. With its inauguration, the southern area of Lima reinforces its position as a key point for commercial and tourist development.
The launch of Boulevard Puntamar has not been without speculation. Comparisons with KM40, the shopping center inaugurated this month by former soccer player Jefferson Farfán, have been inevitable. In particular, it has been rumored that another Peruvian sports icon, Claudio Pizarro, could be linked to the project.
However, Rafael Villanueva, CEO of Grupo Algeciras, the company responsible for Boulevard Puntamar, categorically denied these versions.
“Lima is a city of balls and stories and rumors. Claudio Pizarro is a very respected athlete whom I admire a lot, very important for Peru, but he does not have any investment here (in the mall). This is from the Algeciras Group. We do not have Claudio as a partner; We hope to have him as a visitor, to come soon and take a look around here,” Villanueva declared to Trome.
With its opening, the small south of Lima reinforces its identity as an attractive and constantly growing destination, offering visitors a quality entertainment option that aligns with the expectations of an increasingly demanding public.
