Is ACPM cheap in the country?: these are the prices in the region

The Colombian Energy and Gas Regulatory Commission communicated the new reference prices for sale to the public Fuel Oil for Motors (ACPM) that govern the national territory as of January 1, 2025. Compared to Latin American countries, how is Colombia doing?

The countries that register the most expensive prices for this type of fuel They are Mexico ($21,168), Argentina ($19,896), Nicaragua ($19,637), Uruguay ($18,744), Costa Rica ($18,618), Cuba ($18,307), Chile ($16,334) and Brazil ($16,272).

On the contrary, countries that have ACPM prices The cheapest are Ecuador ($7,937), Bolivia ($9,008) and then Colombia ($10,725).

Below is a summary of the estimate of current ACPM prices with the new official increase in the different cities of the country:

The cities in Colombia that have the most expensive APCM value are Cali, with $10,867; Villavicencio, with $10,825; Pereira, with $10,808; Manizales, with $10,794; Medellín, with $10,748; and Bogotá, with $10,725 per gallon.

On the other hand, the cities with the lowest prices for this type of fuel are Cúcuta, with a cost of $8,410 pesos; followed by Pasto ($9,717), Cartagena ($10,376), Barranquilla ($10,410) and Bucaramanga ($10,481).

The average ACPM value nationwide is $10,423 per gallon.
