Whoever is responsible for promoting homosexuality in “any way” will be punished with seven years in prison and a fine of between ten and 15 million dinars (between 8,000 and 11,000 dollars).

Additionally, anyone convicted of “promoting effemination” will be sentenced to between one and three years in prison with fines of between $3,700 and $7,500.
