The situation in the Middle East is very delicate due to Israel’s provocations and violations of international law. However, the situation can still be stopped and the “uncontrollable” government of Benjamin Netanyahu controlled.
This is what Hojjatollah Soltani, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Venezuela, said during an interview offered this Wednesday to the Radio Miraflores FM station.
The senior diplomat said that Israel has completely violated the international conventions that allow maintaining world peace and security and that is very delicate, since it has allies who ignore the war status of the Hebrew nation.
Ambassador Soltani assured that “it is Israel that attacked the Iranian embassy in Syria and that has the world in suspense. Israel assassinated the leader of the Hamas group in the heart of Tehran, violating the sovereignty of Iran, the sovereignty of my country, and the same thing happened recently when it assassinated the leader of Hezbollah in Lebanon, but also a senior Iranian official who advised Hezbollah. in his defense against Israel.”
Regarding the Iranian response to the continuous attacks by the Benjamin Netanyahu regime against its neighbors in the Middle East, Ambassador Soltani assured that his country is applying “article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, which provides for the right to the legitimate defense of each nation and hence the defensive response to Israel,” he expressed.
In addition, he stated that Iran is aware of everything that could imply a large-scale conflict initiated by Israel. “Netanyahu’s aggressive and brutal character represents a serious threat to international security,” he said. Soltani made it clear that the Zionist regime of Israel does not act alone, and on the contrary “they act under the irresponsible and protective gaze of the United States and other nations, which provide real aid to Israel throughout this conflict by sending weapons to Netanyahu.”
Finally, the Iranian diplomat thanked the government of Venezuela and its people for the gestures of solidarity they have always shown in the most difficult moments of this conflict. “We from Iran thank the Venezuelan people and their government for the support received during this conflict and we are determined to continue maintaining strategic alliances, but above all the brotherhood of two nations that fight for peace in the world and respect for the sovereignty of the towns.”
