The Vice President of Nicaragua, Rosario Murillo, reported that on the afternoon of this Tuesday, June 21, her regime will receive 200,000 doses of vaccines against the virus through the Ministry of Health (Minsa). COVID-19 coming from Iran.
“Vaccines are coming to us, thank God, vaccines are coming to us from the Islamic Republic of Iran this afternoon. Deeply grateful; Covirán vaccines for 200,000 people, to continue vaccinating, continue protecting ourselves,” announced the spokeswoman for the dictatorship.

He added that more doses will arrive “from so many parts, recognizing the right to health that we guarantee for our people.”
“Here we are going to go little, as the dates approach, making known our gratitude for those donations that come to us through the Covax Mechanism,” promised the first lady.
Regarding the vaccination process against the pandemic, Murillo affirmed that “almost 93%” of the population is immunized “with at least one dose and that those over two years of age have 85% complete vaccination, plus 28.77% who have received additional doses of vaccines.
He also emphasized the need to “pay close attention” to the dengue epidemic, because “with this climate, with the rains, there is always an increase in vector-borne diseases; the water becomes contaminated, so there are more cases of dengue, malaria, leptospirosis, respiratory diseases and diarrhea».
