The Deputy Head of the Judiciary for International Affairs and secretary of Iran’s Human Rights Committee, Kazem Gharibabadi, lamented that Western countries take them as tools to promote their political agendas.
Gharibabadi expressed his amazement at the appointment of a special international rapporteur to examine human rights in the Islamic republic.
In this regard, he declared: “Why is this question not raised for many Western countries that disrespect human rights?”
For example, said Gharibabadi, Canada, whose support was notorious in issuing the anti-Iranian resolution, violates the rights of 400 thousand Iranian citizens residing in the northern nation, whom it denies to approach any consular cooperation.
