Iran congratulates Maduro and Venezuelan people on election results

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, through his X account, reported that the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, congratulated his counterpart Nicolás Maduro for the electoral results obtained on July 28, while expressing his unconditional support for the president and the Venezuelan people.

In a statement published on the X account, the Iranian government reaffirms its willingness to deepen ties of cooperation in all areas with Venezuela.

For his part, President Nicolás Maduro expressed his gratitude for the gesture and agreed to continue advancing ties of cooperation “between both sister nations.”

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, received a phone call today from the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, in which he congratulated the election results while expressing his unconditional support for both the President and the Venezuelan people.

The Iranian president reaffirmed his government’s willingness to deepen cooperation with Venezuela in all areas, stating that both peoples are united in an indissoluble way to face common challenges, achieving prosperity for both peoples.

President Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the government and people of Venezuela, thanked President Pezeshkian for his gesture and supported the desire to move forward in a united manner, deepening the ties of cooperation between both sister nations.
