The Rosa Panduro human settlement, in the district of San Juan Bautista, experienced a day of great tension and violence when a confrontation between barristas broke out on the afternoon of this Monday, November 25.
What began as a verbal argument and pushing quickly escalated into a violent conflict that involved the use of machetes, stones and fireworks, causing alarm among neighbors.
During the confrontation, the projectiles fired hit several nearby homes, causing significant damage, mainly to windows and roofs.
Consequently, residents of the area, fearful for their safety, sought refuge in their homes to protect themselves from the chaos generated in the streets.
Despite the intervention of the police, the officers were unable to control the situation immediately, which caused outrage among the residents of the area.
Neighbors expressed frustration over the apparent lack of effective measures to prevent and manage these types of confrontations, which have become increasingly frequent.
