The discharge of the Motor Vehicle Property Tax (IPVA) 2023 in Goiás can be made in up to 10 installments, with the exception of drivers who have vehicles with license plates ending in 1 and 2, who will be able to make the installment in nine installments.
The reason is the deadline set by the National Traffic Code (CONTRAN), which stipulates the renewal of the annual license of vehicles with plates ending in 1 and 2 throughout the country until September.
The IPVA 2023 payment schedule starts in January for all license plates and ends in November, depending on the taxpayer’s payment option. With the extended period for paying the tax, the deadline for paying the IPVA in one lump sum, which includes the Annual Licensing of the Detran, will take place from September to October.
In the state, the rates are 1.25% of the value of the vehicle for buses, minibuses, trucks, air and water vehicles used in the collective transport of passengers and cargo; 3% for motorcycle, moped, tricycle, scooter and passenger car with power up to 100 horsepower; 3.45% for utility vehicles; and 3.75% for passenger land vehicle, air and water vehicle and other unspecified vehicles.
There is also a discount ranging from 5% to 10% for those who register the CPF in retail purchases in the State and participate in the Nota Fiscal Goiana program.
The ticket must be issued online on the websites of the Secretariat of Economy It’s from State Department of Traffic (DMV).
