IPSOS-PERÚ21 Survey: These are the preferred ones of the APRA, AP and we will overcome for the presidency

The election of the candidates for the Presidency of the Republic in the different political parties is a process still in the treasury. According to the electoral schedule, only on December 7 would be certain about who will compete in the April 2026 elections.

The latest Ipsos survey conducted for Peru21however, it already gives us some lights on the electoral preferences, for now in two games and in the leftist alliance we will defeat new Peru for the good living and voices of the people.

It should be noted that for each case, the study was only made among those who voted on occasion by a candidate of the group consulted.

Thus, in the APRA party, if the respondents could choose their candidate (A) to the Presidency of the Republic, Jorge del Castillo, former congressman and former prime minister of Alan García, and Carla García, daughter of the late ex -president, tied with 17% in the preferences, followed not far away by Hernán Garrido Lecca (15%). 40%, however, would not choose any of those mentioned.

In Popular Action, the list is headed by former partner Víctor Andrés García Belaunde with 34%. Further back, with 15%, Alfredo Barnechea is located and with 4% the president of the Julio Chávez group.

Finally, those who have ever voted for a leftist candidate opt for 34% for a Verónika Mendoza application, 9% by Guillermo Bermejo and 6% by Vicente Alanoca. In this case, however, it should be noted that the candidate for the presidential chair will be defined between Bermejo and Alanoca. Mendoza has been discarded, however it is the one that records the greatest sympathy.
