The health manager of the Social Welfare Institute (IPS) guarantees that all the services on Friday the 30th will not be affected by the holiday decreed by the Executive. On the other hand, for Saturday the 31st the on-call system will be applied.
“All health services are considered essential. On Saturday, December 31, an on-call and coverage system for freelance personnel will be established in all health establishments”, reads the note signed by Jorge Bautista de Brix, health manager of the pension.
The same note informs that Friday the 30th will be of regular service, so the postage system will not be activated. However, each director, head and/or area manager will establish the pertinent mechanism to guarantee care coverage for the insured and that the service does not suffer.
