The Social Security Institute issued a statement to report that on June 10, that is, almost a month ago, it filed an unnamed complaint for the commission of punishable acts defined in the law that represses the illicit traffic of narcotics and dangerous drugs and other related crimes and establishes prevention and recovery measures for drug addicts.
The places raided this Wednesday in Asunción allowed the discovery of narcotics for the exclusive use of the IPS, which clarifies that it accompanies and collaborates with the investigation to determine responsibility and identify those responsible.
Fidencio Arce, Celestina María Sosa, Lilian Chena Sánchez and Leonardo Acuña were charged with violation of Law 1340/88, in relation to pharmacy owners and/or employees who supply narcotic substances, dangerous drugs or sell controlled medications without prescriptions.
They are also being investigated for the sale of medicines without the proper authorization of the competent authorities and the sale of medicines for the exclusive use of the IPS.
Preventive detention was requested for Fidencio Arce and Leonardo Acuña due to the degree of responsibility of both in the facts investigated.
