What schools apply the call?
The IPN call applies to the Centers for Scientific and Technological Studies (CECYT), better known as vocational, which are in the states of Hidalgo, León, Guanajuato; Zacatecas and Puebla.

They do not apply to the schools that are in Mexico City or in the metropolitan area, since it will be through another admission exam, together with the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
Online pre -registration
Applicants can make their pre -line record from February 4 to May 16, 2025to obtain your Record requestthe document that indicates the date, time and place where you will personally present your documents.
For the process, they must create an account and log in to the admission platform with an email and password. This platform will support the applicants to download their documents during the following stages.
There they must select the study option you want and there will be no changes after the choice. The applicant must attend the federative entity, according to their choice, to address the stages of this call that require it, without any exception.

In all campuses, the academic program is of a bivalent baccalaureate, that is, it has higher secondary education and a technical career in between. In all it will be through the school system.
Exam share payment
The recovery amount is 525 pesos for national applicants and 1,025 pesos for foreigners. They must make the contribution as indicated by the QR code that is in the lower right of the registration application (Document A).
The contribution may be made at least 24 hours before the face -to -face appointment in the request for registration, for the delivery of the tube of deposit, photography and registration.
The applicant must review whether the tube of deposit that was generated indicates the reference, account number and/or agreement, correctly, as indicated in its application for registration (document a) since the National Polytechnic Institute will not make any return .

Registration and photography
Applicants must go personally in accordance with the date indicated in their registration application with the following printed or digital documents:
- Registration application (Document A);
- Photography identification;
- Proof of deposit.
There the capture and registration will be made, and subsequently the photography will be made.
At the end of the process they will receive the exam file, with the indications /user and password) to perform the exam simulator and the online admission exam.

To perform the admission exam, it is necessary to download and install the safe browser (Lockdown Browser). On that platform you can also perform the exam simulator.

This program can be downloaded and installed in different computer equipment as many times as necessary, although it is important to have the most up -to -date version.
Once installed, the applicant must have access to him by entering the portal https://ipn.edtest.ai with the user and password indicated in the exam form. It can only be performed on laptop or desktop PC.

Exam simulator
It is a tool that will serve the applicants to know the structure and operation of the admission exam. It will be carried out according to the date and time indicated in the exam form.
This exercise has no value or impact on the official evaluation, it serves to practice and resolve the necessary adjustments with the computer equipment to perform the exam.
When is the exam?
The admission exam will be applied online on Friday, May 30, 2025, according to the schedule established in the exam file. No applicant can take the exam at a date or time other than the indicated.
The test consists of 120 questions, and will have enough time to do it. The only elements allowed during the exam are:
- White leaves;
- Pencil;
- Eraser; and
- Pencil sharpener.
The exam can be blocked or canceled in case of impersonation of identity, read aloud or interact with other people, interact in social networks, totally or partially subtract the exam, manipulate the visual or auditory support material, the camera position Web, cover your face or head, carry headphones or use the cell phone.
Publication of results and application for registration
The results will be published on Friday, June 27, 2025, through the Institute’s website www.ipn.mx .
Applicants must print their result sheet, in which the place, date and time to present their registration documents in case of being selected.
These are the necessary documents:
- Secondary Studies Certificate or proof accompanied with the academic history, signed and sealed by the educational authorities. No records or records will be received that indicate an advance of less than 100% or with reprobated or unbeated materials;

- Birth certificate;
- In the case of foreign students, a current immigration document that proves its legal stay in the country.
NO abused, broken, mutilated, altered, stained or illegible documents will not be accepted.
Already made the application for registration, applicants may receive any of the following documents, as the case may be:

- Registration application without verified educational history (SAEV) (Document E): When you do not have the certificate or miss any other documents established in this call. School year
