Invima highlighted that the central objective of these resolutions is to protect consumer health and guarantee good practices throughout the entire production chain of the food industry.

Alba Jimenezdirector of Food and Beverages at Invima, highlighted the usefulness of this guide as a bridge between regulation and the industry. Technically prepared by Invima and diagrammed and printed by Acoplásticas, the guide offers companies clear and practical guidelines to comply with current regulations. “The guide makes it easier to understand and manage the procedures to approve materials and packaging in contact with food, a technical process that requires specialized knowledge,” said Jiménez.

In addition, the guide aims to streamline approval processes and strengthen health surveillance mechanisms, guaranteeing that both the public sector and industry work under the same safety and quality standards.
