The general director of NOW, Luis Pineda, said in an interview that they already have more than 20,000 active users to whom they offer a physical and digital debit card, electronic transfers as well as payment for services such as telephone, light and internet services and wire.
The commissions for making the payment of these services range between 8 and 12 pesos, while sending the physical card is free.
Now also bets on artificial intelligence to make an evaluation of its clients and in the future, to be able to offer them loans and thus reduce delinquency.
Future plans include launching a credit card and offering an account that provides returns to users.
“The credit card exists, but we are piloting it, we are fine-tuning it. It is coming, most likely, by the end of this semester,” said Pineda.
Now can operate as a neobank thanks to the banking license from Invex, which according to Pineda is a bank with an “impeccable reputation.”
