The Bicameral Commission for the Oversight of Intelligence Organizations and Activities of the Argentine Congress, as well as the Ministry of Defense of that country, will investigate the complaint about the existence of the Puma plan, a military invasion -with the support of the United States- that was intended to be carried out against Venezuela during the government of Mauricio Macri.
The information was offered by deputy Luis Eduardo Martínez, a member of the parliamentary commission of the National Assembly that recently visited that country.
“After three days of work, we consigned the request (for investigation) in a meeting with the Bicameral Commission, we were also with deputies from the South American Parliament, with officials from the Foreign Ministry and the Vice Minister of Defense, with whom it was agreed that the Ministry of The Defense will advance the investigations and will notify Venezuela of the progress. The investigation is in a preliminary phase,” said the parliamentarian.
Regarding the possible reincorporation of the AN’s representation to Parlasur, he said that the issue will be debated on May 16 in Argentina. “We present the collections, because this parliament is legal; It has approved 37 laws and debates 57 regulations to date”.
