He Uruguayan Institute of Meteorology (Inumet) The weather alerts ceased this Wednesday morning.

Earlier I had posted a yellow alert for severe storms for part of south and east of the national territory.

As indicated by the agency in a statement, it was a “atmospheric disturbance” associated with a “moist and unstable air mass” that “affects the country” by generating “storms some punctually strong”.

In the affected areas it was possible to see “intense rains in short periods, occasional hail, intense electrical activity and strong gusts of wind.”
