Inumet published two alerts for strong storms in the west of the country

From 5:55 in the morning they apply two alerts, one yellow and one orange, for strong storms in it west and northwest of the country, published by the Uruguayan Institute of Meteorology (Inumet).

The service warns that in the affected areas it will be possible to see “intense rains in short periods, occasional hail, intense electrical activity and strong gusts of wind.”

The north of Paysandú and the south of Salto are within the orange area, a higher alert than yellow, which surrounds the other warning with limits in the north of Salto and west of Durazno.

Paysandu: Cerro Chato, Chapicuy, Constancia, Gallinal, Lorenzo Geyres, Quebracho and Guaviyú Hot Springs.

Jump: Campo de Todos, Cerro de Vera, Colonia 18 de Julio, Garibaldi, Puntas de Valentín, Salto, San Antonio and Termas del Daymán.

Localities on yellow alert

Peach: Baygorria, Centenario and Feliciano.Flores: Andresito.

Paysandu: Beisso, Casa Blanca, Farms of Paysandú, Colonia Nuevo Paysandú, Esperanza, Guichón, Merinos, Orgoroso, Paysandú, Piedras Coloradas, Porvenir and San Félix.

Black river: the whole department.

Jump: Albisu, Colonia Itapebi, Itapebi and Quintana.

Tacuarembó: Pass of the Bulls.
