The Uruguayan Institute of Meteorology (Inumet) issued this Saturday morning a yellow alert notice for strong storms, mainly in the south central area of ​​the country.

The report noted a high probability (75%) of precipitations. In addition, that the designated areas registered occasional hail fall, intense electrical activity and strong gusts of wind.

The institute reports that it continues to monitor the situation and will issue new warnings if circumstances dictate.

Cannelloni: San Ramón and Santa Lucía.

Peach: Baygorria, Carlos Reyles, Carmen, Centenario, Durazno, Feliciano, Ombúes de Oribe, Pueblo Centenario, Pueblo de Álvarez, Rossell y Rius, Santa Bernardina and Sarandí del Yí.

Flowers: Andresito, Cerro Colorado, Ismael Cortinas, Juan José Castro, La Casilla and Trinidad.

Florida: August 25, May 25, Alejandro Gallinal, Capilla del Sauce, Cardal, Casupa, Chamizo, Florida, Fray Marcos, Goñi, Independencia, La Cruz, Mendoza, Mendoza Chico, Reboledo, San Gabriel and Sarandí Grande.

Lavalleja: Gaetán and Illescas.

Black river: Grecco.

Saint Joseph: Capurro, Mal Abrigo and Rodríguez.
