He National Transit Institute and Land Transportation (Intrant) called this Monday to public consultation about the implementation of a new technical regulations for the development of work plans road safety mobilitymandate of decree 254-20.
The purpose of the regulations is to adopt the methodology to prepare the Road Safety Work Plans and Mobility that reduce road risks related to work. It is also intended to achieve a better mobility of the workers.
The entity announced the call to consultation public in a publication in Free Diary.

From now until December 15, the Technical Regulations will be available on the Intrant institutional portal: www.intrant.gob.do and comments, suggestions and observations must be sent by email to [email protected] or physically deposited at the Intrant headquarters.
The regulations establish that the development of Road Safety Work Plans and Mobilityin accordance with the provisions of article 2 of the decree 254-20will be mandatory and the provisions thereof will apply to the companies whose activity is the professional transport of cargo or passengers and to which companiesorganizations, free zones or other legal entities in the private sector recognized by legislation in Dominican territory.
“In the same way to the public companiesmixed (public-private), public institutions and non-profit organizations, which have workerswhether self-employed or on behalf of an employer, who meet at least one of the characteristics described in these regulations based on the dimension of the operationtheir purpose, the impact they generate on their environment or the particular circumstances that arise in their operations”.
The consultation is aimed at all organization of the country that has a vehicle fleetintended for circulation on public roads, greater than fifteen (15) units linked to its operation.
