The interprovincial bus with license plate B3X-958 of the Cosmos transport company got lost today at 00:49 hours at kilometer 79 of the Arequipa – Puno road, in the jurisdiction of the Arequipa district of Yura.

The bus with 40 passengers was heading from Arequipa to Desaguadero (Puno). Due to the traffic accident, some people were injured and were transported in patrol cars and a fire department ambulance to the White City hospitals.
The driver was identified as Walter Castro Saya, who indicated that he needed medical attention and was taken to the Yura police station as an operation.
